समृद्धि की कामना के साथ धनतेरस और दीपावली की तैयारियां जोरों पर चल रही हैं. इन त्योहारों पर सोना खरीदना शुभ माना जाता है। बहुत से लोग इस दिन सोना खरीद कर निवेश की औपचारिक शुरुआत भी करते हैं, इस विश्वास के साथ कि वे बुरे समय में इसका इस्तेमाल कर पाएंगे।

लेकिन अगर सोना शुद्ध न हो तो यह इत्मीनान से चिंता में बदल सकता है। अगर सोना नकली है या कम शुद्धता का है, तो उसे बहुत कम कीमत पर बेचा जाएगा। ऐसा सोना गिरवी रखकर कर्ज नहीं लिया जा सकता है। 24 कैरेट और 18 कैरेट सोने की कीमत में आमतौर पर 25% का अंतर होता है।

But if the gold is not pure it can turn into a leisurely worry. If the gold is counterfeit or of low purity, it will be sold at a very low price. Loan cannot be taken by pledging such gold. There is usually a difference of 25% in the price of 24 carat and 18 carat gold.

Keep these things in mind before buying gold on Dhanteras..

1. केवल प्रमाणित सोना खरीदें (Buy only Certified Gold)

हमेशा भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो (बीआईएस) के हॉलमार्क के साथ प्रमाणित सोना खरीदें। शुद्धता कोड, परीक्षण केंद्र चिह्न, जौहरी का चिह्न और अंकन तिथि भी जांचें।

Always buy certified gold with Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) hallmarks. Also check the purity code, test center mark, jeweler’s mark and marking date.

2. क्रॉस चेक मूल्य (Cross Check Price)

कई स्रोतों (जैसे इंडिया बुलियन एंड ज्वैलर्स एसोसिएशन की वेबसाइट) से खरीदारी के दिन सोने के सही वजन और कीमत की जांच करें। सोने की कीमत 24 कैरेट, 22 कैरेट और 18 कैरेट के हिसाब से बदलती रहती है.

Check the correct weight and value of gold on the day of purchase from multiple sources (such as the India Bullion and Jewelers Association website). The price of gold varies according to 24 carat, 22 carat and 18 carat.

3. नकद भुगतान न करें, बिल लें (Don’t Pay Cash, Take Bills)

सोना खरीदते समय नकद भुगतान एक बड़ी गलती साबित हो सकती है। UPI (जैसे BHIM ऐप) और डिजिटल बैंकिंग के माध्यम से भुगतान करना अच्छा है। आप चाहें तो डेबिट या क्रेडिट कार्ड से भी पेमेंट कर सकते हैं। उसके बाद बिल लेना न भूलें। ऑनलाइन ऑर्डर करते समय, पैकेजिंग की जांच करना सुनिश्चित करें।

Paying cash while buying gold can prove to be a big mistake. It is good to pay through UPI (like BHIM app) and digital banking. If you want, you can also pay by debit or credit card. Don’t forget to collect the bill after that. When ordering online, be sure to check the packaging.
