Tech giant Google has released a Gmail redesign to simplify iOS settings. As per Google’s 9to5 report, Gmail settings on iPhone and iPad have been redesigned with the elimination of normal and unlinked accounts.

The priority list begins by separating the settings for Chat and Meet, allowing users to close those tabs faster. Additionally, colored symbols have been used to draw attention to each element. The Notifications section has high-level controls, while the Inbox and Write and Reply sections are quite simple.Lastly, there’s a general section. Even though it’s specific to iOS, it’s a major redesign of Gmail’s settings that could be coming to Android. The report says it’s easy to use and is based on iOS Preferences. Similar to Chrome.

Previously, the company launched a pilot program for Gmail users to keep political campaign emails out of the spam folder. The program allowed candidates, political party committees and leadership political action committees to apply for the spam folder exemption. Google was criticizing, in a report, that its algorithms unfairly target conservative content in its services and that its Gmail service filters more Republican fundraising and campaign emails into spam.
