‘Krishna-Kunj’ being developed in urban areas to connect tree plantation with people & protect cultural heritage, says CM Baghel
Raipur. Chief Minister planted Kadamba plant in Krishna Kunj Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel dedicated the Krishna-Kunj developed at Telibandha in the capital Raipur on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami. In the 1.68 hectare area of Krishna-Kunj, 383 cultural and life-useful trees were planted. On this occasion, the Chief Minister planted a plant of Kadamba in Krishna-Kunj. He worshiped Lord Krishna and congratulated the people of the state on Krishna Janmashtami.
The Chief Minister fed jaggery and gram to the cow in Krishna-Kunj. He worshiped the murals of the eighth Kanhaiya made on the wall of the replica of Krishna’s birthplace prison and prayed for the prosperity of the people of the state by applying tilak. The Chief Minister also swings a swing to Lord Krishna. Taking the child in the form of Krishna in his lap, he broke the pot of curd. Keeping in mind the convenience of the general public, the Chief Minister also directed the Collector to shift the government liquor shop near the newly built Krishna-Kunj of Telibandha to another place.
Agriculture Minister Ravindra Choubey, Forest Minister Mohammad Akbar, Urban Administration Minister Dr. Shivkumar Dahria, Mayor Ejaz Dhebar, Chhattisgarh Home Construction Board President Kuldeep Juneja, Parliamentary Secretary Vikas Upadhyay, MLA Satyanarayan Sharma, Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Bhure, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Mayank Chaturvedi, MIC members and councilors and a large number of devotees. People were also present on this occasion.
